Prints on Prints on Prints: In Interiors & Fashion (Part 2)
From floral and abstract patterns in the previous dispatch, to animal prints and geometry this time around.
As promised, here I am with Part 2 of Prints on Prints on Prints, with more inspiration and encouragement to mix playful patterns. Summer deserves full credit for this recent explosion of joy, color, adventure, and curiosity.
In this new installment of The Art of Discovery, I continue to advocate for bringing a touch of extravagance back (even if in moderation) to counter the current state of uniformity in style (guess that’s the downside of minimalism and globalization). While the previous dispatch focused on florals and abstract patterns, this one turns to animal prints and geometric shapes—lines, squares, and a few additional bits of abstraction here and there.
That’s not to say you need to fill your home or wardrobe with prints—you decide how bold or restrained you want to be. But I hope this inspires you to take risks and play around. We’ve all been talking about personal style for a while now—what it means, how to find it… Time to put theory into practice. And it certainly won’t be for a lack of references.
This post features some of my favorite looks from the Resort 2026 and Men’s Summer 2026 collections, along with highlights from other seasons, interior design favorites, paintings, film scenes, and more. Think of it as a little cabinet des curiosités.
One easy trick? Add a printed carpet to your home, or a printed bandana to your look. These days we’re tying them around the waist, but of course you can wear yours however you like. And stay hydrated—it’s hot out there!

Soooo lovely!! Pattern is everything. Wish I could attach an image of the rug we made for Bottega a few years back.
